The standard for corrosion and scale inhibitors for industrial boiler water treatment drafted by Sciengreen has been released and implemented

Recently,Sciengreen Company, as the main drafting unit, officially released and implemented the group standard "Corrosion and Scale Inhibitors for Industrial Boiler Water Treatment" on December 29, 2023, with the standard number T/CBWA 0025-2023.

Corrosion and scale inhibitors for industrial boiler water treatment are chemical additives specifically used for industrial boiler water treatment, aimed at preventing or slowing down metal corrosion and sediment scaling in boilers, thereby improving the thermal conductivity efficiency of boilers, extending equipment life, and reducing energy consumption. It plays an important role in industrial production, helping to protect the stable and efficient operation of boiler systems. 

With the continuous improvement of energy-saving and emission reduction requirements for boiler systems, the types of corrosion and scale inhibitors used in boilers are also increasing. It is imperative to develop standards that are suitable for various types of corrosion and scale inhibitors used in industrial boiler water treatment. The "Corrosion and Scale Inhibitors for Industrial Boiler Water Treatment" was proposed by the China Boiler and Boiler Water Treatment Association, under the jurisdiction of the China Boiler and Boiler Water Treatment Association, and mainly drafted by Scientific Green(shandong) Environmental Technology Co.Ltd. This standard consists of 7 chapters, which standardize the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage of corrosion and scale inhibitors for industrial boiler water treatment.

By formulating standards for corrosion and scale inhibitors suitable for various industrial boiler water treatment applications, market order can be regulated, product quality can be improved, and the development and application of industrial boiler water treatment technology can be promoted. At the same time, the formulation of standards also helps to strengthen industry self-discipline, promote industrial upgrading and sustainable development.
