Sciengreen Company has appointed Professor Zhang Xiao of Renmin University of China as the "consultant of enterprise ethics construction in the new era"

On December 28, 2024, at the 10th (2024) China Ethics Conference and the First China Corporate Ethics Conference,Scientific Green(shandong) Environmental Technology Co.Ltd. appointed Professor Zhang Xiao as a consultant for the construction of corporate ethics and morality in the new era. Chairman Tian Minge presented Professor Zhang Xiao with a letter of appointment, and Professor Zhang Xiao returned the company's practice of ethical and moral principles.

Professor Zhang Xiao is currently Vice Dean of School of Philosophy, Renmin University of China; Deputy Director and Researcher of Ethics and Moral Construction Research Center of Renmin University of China, Key Research Base of Humanities and Social Sciences, Ministry of Education; Main members of the research group for the key textbook "Ethics" in the Central Marxist Theory Research and Construction Project; Executive Director and Deputy Secretary General of the Chinese Ethics Society, Deputy Director of the Legal Ethics Professional Committee of the Chinese Ethics Society, Executive Director and Deputy Secretary General of the Economic Ethics Professional Committee of the Chinese Ethics Society, and Vice President of the Beijing Ethics Society.

Professor Zhang Xiao said in his feedback on corporate ethical and moral principles that doing the right thing in the right way can also achieve a balance between profit and responsibility. This is a strategic balance in the sense of sustainable development for enterprises. 'Correct' is not only a technical means, but also a value system of upward and goodness. Good enterprises pursue the unity of the two and gain practical wisdom from the enterprise.

This conference is jointly hosted by the Chinese Ethics Society and the Beijing Ethics Society, with over 600 renowned experts, scholars, and representatives from the business community in attendance. The conference, with the theme of "Ethics and Corporate Development," aims to implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, actively respond to the call for promoting high-quality economic and social development, explore the leading role of corporate ethics in corporate development in the new era, and promote innovation and practice in ethics. 

The opening ceremony was hosted by renowned CCTV host Liang Yan, and speeches were delivered by Sun Chunchen, President of the Chinese Ethics Society, and Wang Shuqin, President of the Beijing Ethics Society. Li Honglei, Secretary General of Boao New Confucian Business Forum, Cheng Tianqing, Chairman of Shanxi Zhongde Investment Group Co., Ltd., Liu Yuli, Professor of the Central Party School of the Communist Party of China (National School of Administration), Li Bingzheng, Chairman of Credit Building Department Store Group Co., Ltd., and Wang Xiaoxi, Dean of the Marxism Research Institute of Nanjing Normal University, delivered keynote speeches. The conference also released recommended cases of ethical and moral practices by Haier Group and Credit Building Department Store Group enterprises; A ceremony was held for 20 well-known enterprises and 20 senior ethics scholars to hold hands with ethical and moral construction consultants; The conference proposed the establishment of "7.19 Corporate Ethics Day", and hundreds of ethics scholars and entrepreneurs participated in the initiative signing activity. 

The first China Enterprise Ethics Conference was held simultaneously, and scholars and entrepreneurs conducted in-depth discussions and research on the practical significance of enterprise ethics, ethical challenges faced in enterprise development, and the construction of enterprise ethical culture, contributing ideas and wisdom to the development of enterprise ethical culture and ethical practice in China. 

This conference has set up 9 parallel sub forums and 2 online forums, including Basic Theory of Ethics, Applied Ethics, Marxist Ethics, History of Chinese and Foreign Ethical Thought, Construction of Marxist Academy, Ideological and Political Education and Moral Education, Network Ethics, Health Ethics, and Technology Ethics. The attendees had in-depth academic exchanges and shared their research results and insights. 

The conference also held the 10th Dialogue on Ethical Hotspot Issues, where five renowned scholars, Wang Shuqin, Qu Hongmei, Li Yitian, Zhang Xiao, and Zeng Jianping, had in-depth dialogues and exchanges with over 200 young scholars present. 

The conference was co organized by the China Marxism Research Foundation, the Applied Ethics Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Ethics and Moral Construction Research Center of Renmin University of China, China University of Political Science and Law, Capital Normal University, Beijing Jianzhu University, Shanxi Normal University, Liaoning Periodicals Association, Dalian University of Technology, Zhejiang Industrial and Commercial University, Shandong Normal University, Wenzhou Medical University, Kangning Hospital affiliated to Wenzhou Medical University, Henan University of Economics and Law, Hunan Normal University, Changsha University of Technology, Huazhong Normal University, Hainan Medical University. China Social Science Network and China National Knowledge Infrastructure conducted live broadcasts of the opening ceremony of the conference.
