On the morning of January 13, 2025, the fourth session of the 14th Jining Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference successfully completed all the agendas. During the four-day period, Tian Mingge, Deputy Director of the Population, Resources and Environment Committee of the Municipal Political Consultative Conference, Vice Chairman of the Jining Municipal Committee of the China Democratic Construction Association, and Chairman of Scientific Green(shandong) Environmental Technology Co.Ltd., gathered with members of the Municipal Political Consultative Conference from all walks of life in the city. With a high sense of political responsibility and mission, they closely focused on building a new growth pole for green, low-carbon and high-quality development in Shandong, and striving to achieve "ten new breakthroughs", gathering wisdom and providing suggestions.

During the conference, Zhang Dong, member of the Standing Committee of the Jining Municipal Party Committee, Deputy Mayor and Party Group of the Municipal Government, and Dong Xuechen, Vice Chairman of the Jining Municipal Political Consultative Conference, led a group of the Science and Technology Association at the Fourth Session of the 14th Municipal Political Consultative Conference to discuss the government work report and listen to the suggestions and speeches of the members. Tian Minge stated in his speech that this year's government work report highlights new positioning, new goals, and new driving forces, and is a practical and inspiring report. At the same time, focusing on the goal of creating a new growth pole for green, low-carbon, and high-quality development in Shandong, President Tian Mingge proposed positioning our city as the largest energy-saving and environmental protection industry base in the north, making the Economic Development Zone the main carrier of the environmental protection industry, and coordinating the layout of the park, strengthening cultivation, talent gathering, and other suggestions, which were positively evaluated and affirmed by the attending leaders.

After the meeting, the Information Office of Jining Municipal Government organized a press conference for the Fourth Session of the 14th Jining Municipal Political Consultative Conference. Tian Minge attended the conference as the spokesperson and answered questions from reporters.

He said: 

The two sessions proposed a new positioning of "building a new growth pole for green, low-carbon, and high-quality development in Shandong", set a new goal of "1 trillion yuan and 5 multiples", and put forward ten new driving forces for strengthening and improving efficiency, such as "promoting industrial economy". This has made me feel the thriving new atmosphere, and I am excited and deeply inspired, enhancing the determination and confidence of enterprises to become stronger and bigger. 

As the head of a private technology enterprise, the first thing is to do well in the development and technological innovation of the enterprise, and contribute to the green, low-carbon and high-quality development of our city. One is to accelerate the construction of a 50000 ton environmentally friendly new material project and strive to put it into operation within the year. This project is built in collaboration with Professor Yin Shumei's team at Qingdao University of Science and Technology. Once put into operation, it will effectively promote green carbon reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency enhancement in the manufacturing industry. The second is to improve the production capacity of electrochemical equipment through technological transformation. Electrochemical water treatment is a relatively new water treatment technology that is more environmentally friendly and efficient compared to traditional methods, and is a new path for zero discharge of industrial circulating water. We are collaborating with Professor Xu Hao's team at Xi'an Jiaotong University to significantly increase production capacity through technological upgrades, meeting the increasing demand for water conservation and zero emissions from our customers. The third is to strengthen independent technological innovation. The company has built a R&D and technical team of nearly 60 people, and plans to increase the number of R&D personnel by another 30% by 2025. A new batch of cutting-edge R&D and testing equipment will be added to further improve and optimize the innovation incentive mechanism, vigorously create an innovative atmosphere, and translate our "innovation" business policy into specific measures and actions. 

Jining City has proposed to create a new growth pole for green, low-carbon, and high-quality development in Shandong, and the energy-saving and environmental protection industry plays an important role in supporting and promoting green and low-carbon development. In the new year, I will leverage my professional and industry advantages, demonstrate my role as a committee member, conduct in-depth research on the current situation of our city's energy conservation and environmental protection industry, identify existing problems, learn from advanced regional experiences in energy conservation and environmental protection industry development, provide suggestions and recommendations for the growth and development of our city's energy conservation and environmental protection industry, and help create a new growth pole for green, low-carbon, and high-quality development in Shandong. 

The members of the Science and Technology Association of the Municipal Political Consultative Conference will fully leverage their advantages, conduct in-depth research on the role of technology in promoting high-quality economic development in our city, work together, and rely on various performance methods such as thematic consultations, proposal writing, and reflecting social and public opinion information to contribute scientific and technological wisdom and the strength of the Political Consultative Conference to the economic development and technological innovation of our city.
