——Reflections on listening to Su Wei's speech and reading Mr. Ren's speech again
On November 1st, I listened to General Su Wei's speech on the Shengyuan stage, and then read General Ren's speech on "Spring River Water Warmth Duck Prophet, Never Return Without Breaking the Oath of Loulan - At the 'Expedition, Grinding, Winning the Future' R&D Soldiers Expedition Conference". I was deeply moved and inspired.
1、 Wolf nature!
How can gentle sheep expand their territory? How can we create, develop, and achieve a career without the spirit of wolves? Some people say that Huawei hasn't mentioned its wolf nature for a long time, but Mr. Ren's speech embodies the sharpness, wit, bravery, resilience, and unity of wolves everywhere!
At the moment when the window of opportunity opens, pounce on it, tear it apart, develop vertically, expand horizontally; Rushing to the battlefield, combining with tens of thousands of frontline soldiers familiar with the scene, forming an iron current; The warriors are about to embark on another expedition, and we already have an iron army armed to the teeth from 170 countries; We need to shift from using 'Hanyang made' to piloting 'aircraft carriers' in modern combat methods; We must dare to focus on the target, saturate the attack, and bravely charge forward. We will not hesitate to use Van Fleet ammunition, aim at the same city wall mouth, and persistently attack for decades
Who said Huawei no longer talks about wolf sex? Mr. Ren's speech is filled with a wolf like radiance between the lines! I feel that Wolverine has never left Huawei for a single step! Our Sciengreen, learning from Huawei, the first priority is to learn this spirit! We need to constantly remind and examine ourselves whether we maintain a keen sense of the market? Can you react quickly and promptly? Do you have the determination and confidence to move forward without hesitation? Are we brave enough in the midst of the mighty Zhuolu? Do you still have the resilience to never give up until you reach your goal? Do you firmly believe in the team, rely on the team, and work together?
2、 Customer centric approach.
All the training and learning we have participated in have taught us that customers are our food and clothing parents, and they are one of the two most basic starting points for business operations. The strategy, operation, resource allocation, and so on of a company should revolve around customers! Our first mission at Sciengreen is to 'continuously strive for clean, low consumption, and efficient operation for our customers'. Upon reflection, do we truly realize the importance of' customer-centric '? Did we really do this again? Why did 2000 Huawei cadres and experts go to the front line?
Today, we gathered over 2000 senior experts and officials to go to the battlefield, allowing them to truly understand customer needs, carry their own manufactured parachutes, and parachute into the colorful battlefield of war. Spring River Water Warmth Duck Prophet, if you don't go into the water, how do you know about weather changes?
In this regard, what we need to change the most at present is that when customers make requests, we respond quickly and meet their needs to the maximum extent possible. In this process, we continuously improve our capabilities and competitiveness.
3、 Long term arduous struggle.
Mr. Su Wei briefly reviewed Huawei's arduous struggle, which was repeatedly mentioned in Mr. Ren's speech.
The farewell ceremony for the departing soldiers at the Wuzhou Hotel in 2000. The slogan 'Loyalty bones buried everywhere in the green mountains, why do we need horse leather wrapped bodies to return them' was full of a sense of tragedy. In fact, we didn't even have horse leather at that time
The wind is weak and the water is cold. In the era of foreign exchange controls, it was common for our employees to be unable to swipe their cards at McDonald's; More than 20 years ago, we went abroad to prove our identity. We once borrowed a slogan from the Soviet Red Army's Vasily Klochkov during World War II, 'Moscow is behind us, we have no way out.' Moscow is not ours, and we have no way out. Moving forward is seen as communism attacking, and retreating is seen as capitalism sprouting. When we drag our tired bodies back home and face unfamiliar wives and children, we cannot say a word because we have said too much to our clients. When they need to play games with them and tell them stories the most, our life time is completely strangled by the fight for survival. Children will one day understand that their fathers and mothers have a life without regrets, and that they warm all humanity like central air conditioning, without the great emotions that only blow them like an electric fan. However, we can never repay the conscience and self blame of our parents, which will linger in our hearts for a long time
Long term hard work is the way for Huawei to achieve its goals. "Long term hard work" is just like the "enterprising" in our core values, and gives it a richer meaning. Long term hard work is a manifestation of enterprising and a belief that we must adhere to and abide by for a long time.
4、 Putting the strugglers first.
Another fundamental starting point for running a business is its employees. Our second mission at Sciengreen is to "continuously strive to create a prosperous and beautiful life for our employees". Huawei's focus on striving makes our understanding more precise.
Today, we can achieve sales revenue of over 80 billion US dollars, incorporating the youth, sweat, and lives of countless people. We have succeeded today, and we must not forget those who fought together. We must not forget those who sacrificed their lives, whether for work or personal reasons. We already have a large piece of land today, and we will definitely find a way to commemorate them
These are not just sentimental rhetoric, Huawei's human resources mechanism is truly designed around the strugglers, 'not letting Lei Feng wear out his socks, not letting Jiao Yulu suffer losses'! The direction of our Sciengreen mechanism reform coincides with this, and we should move forward more firmly. Human resources policies should be more oriented towards the front line and the soldiers who charge forward!
5、 Pattern, mindset, and vision.
Su Wei used six key words to describe Mr. Ren: scattered wealth, humility, integrity, focus, learning, and culture! These are like a mirror. As an entrepreneur and a business leader, I have compared and discovered my own gaps, as well as found the direction of my efforts, especially in terms of vision, mindset, and perspective!
Huawei has invested a large amount of funds in learning, introducing, digesting, and absorbing advanced management theories and practices from the West. As Mr. Ren said, it is "progress standing on the shoulders of giants". Thank you to Mr. Ren and Huawei for their continuous exploration in business and management, which has set an example for us to learn from and provided us with living teaching materials!
Through learning, we have also strengthened our company's belief in the "Three Adherences": adhering to our business direction, adhering to our values, and persisting in continuous innovation.
