"The Belt and Road": Two cleaning projects of Thar Coal Power in Pakistan were completed perfectly

The Thar Coal Field Block II Coal Mine and Power Station Project is located in the Thar Desert area in the southeast of Sindh Province, Pakistan. It is a priority implementation project of the "the Belt and Road" - "China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Energy Planning", with a total investment of more than 2 billion dollars. It is the first coal power integration project in the China Pakistan Economic Corridor and even the whole Pakistan. The official implementation of this project will greatly promote the development of local energy in Pakistan, creating a new situation for Pakistan to independently and stably use local coal to solve power shortages. It is of great significance to help Pakistan overcome the energy crisis, improve the power structure, and drive local economic development. After more than two years of construction, the power station project has entered the final debugging stage. In April 2018, our company won the bid for the chemical cleaning project of two 2 × 330MW units in the first phase of the project.

Our Sciengreen company has many years of experience in foreign project construction. After the project was signed, the company systematically carried out project preparation work, organized multiple meetings to study and discuss, and provided strong support to the project team. After the implementation of the project, technical personnel entered the Tal site in advance to communicate with the personnel of Party A, exchange on-site issues, improve construction measures, coordinate on-site construction conditions, and with the active response of multiple personnel, complete the temporary system installation in a short period of time. We accurately procure the required chemicals in the international market, enabling us to have chemical cleaning conditions ahead of the overall schedule requirements. The construction measures are based on relevant standards in China, and are jointly formulated with the chemical personnel of the Pakistani owner in accordance with the standards provided by boiler manufacturer GE. This also reflects our unremitting pursuit of high standards and strict requirements, and to create the "Sciengreen" brand in the international industrial cleaning field. The cleaning project is a systematic engineering that requires cooperation from multiple departments and specialties. The simultaneous construction of two units in this project brings more difficulties to the project. Under the command and coordination of the project manager and on-site construction manager, and with the full cooperation of personnel from the owner, general contractor, supervisor, and other parties, after more than a month of intense construction, the cleaning project was completed on January 13, 2019. The testing results received unanimous praise from all participating units, and the project passed the acceptance inspection and was successfully concluded.
