From April 17th to 19th, 2024, the "2024 Steel Green Low Carbon Circular Development Technology Seminar and Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction and Equipment Innovation Development Technology Exchange Conference" jointly hosted by Anhui Metal Society, Hubei Metal Society, Hebei Metal Society and other societies was successfully held in Ma'anshan, Anhui Province. The theme of this conference is "Green Carbon Reduction Innovation · Enhancing the Productivity of New Steel Quality", aiming to deeply explore the energy-saving and carbon reduction path of the steel industry, covering important topics such as process equipment, energy conversion, recycling, equipment energy conservation, and energy management. Yin Shumei, Senior Consultant of Xingrui Company, Dean of Xingrui Qingke Environmental Technology Research Institute, and former Professor of Qingdao University of Science and Technology, was invited to attend the meeting.

At the meeting, Professor Yin gave a special report on the topic of "Research on the Core Technology of Zero Discharge in Circulating Cooling Water Systems through the 'Equipment+Agent' Method". In the report, Professor Yin pointed out that Xingrui Company, in order to better control the water quality of the circulating water system, reduce the risk of heat exchanger scaling, comprehensively consider factors such as water conservation, emission reduction, reducing secondary pollution to the environment, the impact of related equipment operation, and operational economy, uses a combination of electrochemical descaling and water treatment agents to achieve the goal of ultra-high concentration operation of the circulating water system, providing a new process technology for achieving zero emissions in the circulating water system. In the case sharing session, Professor Yin provided a detailed introduction to the significant results and economic benefits achieved by some industrial enterprises after applying this technology, with a focus on sharing practical cases of reducing water resource consumption, lowering operating costs, improving equipment life, and avoiding environmental pollution, which sparked widespread attention and discussion among attendees.
