The cavalry went to war in the "blue sky country", and the "the Belt and Road" was a new chapter again -- the chemical cleaning project of the Qiaoba Mountain boiler in Mongolia undertaken by Xingri Company was successfully completed

In September 2023, Xingrui Company won the bid for the boiler chemical cleaning project of the 1 × 50MW coal-fired power plant expansion project in Choibashan, Mongolia, undertaken by China Power Construction Group Sichuan Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Sichuan Power Construction). This is the second overseas project of cooperation between the two parties after the chemical cleaning project of the 2 × 350MW coal-fired power plant in Sihanoukville, Cambodia in 2022.

The project is located in Qiaobashan City, the capital of the Eastern Province of Mongolia, which is more than 600 kilometers away from the capital Ulaanbaatar. It has the third largest population in Mongolia and was once the second largest city in the country. This project is of great significance. After completion, it will effectively solve the problem of insufficient power supply in the eastern region of Mongolia, maintain the stability of the power grid in eastern Mongolia, promote the development of local mineral resources, meet the electricity needs of local residents, and promote local economic and social development.

Due to the fact that Mongolia had already entered winter and the weather was extremely cold when receiving the bid notification, with an average temperature of -25 ℃ to -30 ℃ and a minimum temperature of -40 ℃, the acid washing work planned to be carried out at the end of 2023 could only be postponed until the end of March after the Spring Festival when the temperature rose, which greatly affected the construction period. In order to ensure the smooth progress of the project, the Cleaning Division has organized multiple project special meetings, combined with the company's relevant experience, to discuss in detail the various links and control points in the cleaning process, clarify the operating steps, personnel allocation, organizational division of labor, take measures for safety and environmental protection, waste liquid treatment, emergency response, etc., and develop a detailed and feasible acid washing plan. Before the Spring Festival, the company arranged for the procurement of cleaning agents, transportation and port consolidation, and delivered all materials to the project site in early March.

After receiving the notice of commencement, we immediately organized personnel to enter the factory. On March 17th, they arrived in Manzhouli City, Inner Mongolia and took an international bus to the project site to start work and guide the temporary pipeline connection. On April 2nd, the acid washing work officially began. In early April, the local weather in Mongolia was still extremely cold, and coupled with the scarcity of local materials, it caused many difficulties for the project construction. All employees of the company's project department overcame various difficulties with tenacious will and professional skills, and made various preparations. After several days of continuous operation, the acid washing work was successfully completed, and the project quality was highly recognized by the general contractor, Special Transformer Company, and the construction unit, Sichuan Electric Power Construction Company.
