Calcium Sulfate Scale Remover SGR1232
Environmentally friendly, efficient, safe, and non-corrosive
1. Performance and Application
The calcium sulfate descaler SGR 1232 is synthesized from special chelating agents, surfactants, and polymers. It primarily works by using surfactants to wet and penetrate the scale surface, new chelating agents to dissolve and alter the crystal structure of the scale, and polymers to chelate and disperse. This results in the expansion and loosening of the scale, making it easier to be carried away by water flow or removed by high-pressure water jets. The product effectively removes more dirt with a lower dosage and is fully biodegradable. It can be used for cleaning sulfate scale in desulfurization systems as well as for removing scale and deposits in general heat exchange equipment.
2.Technical Specifications
Name | Specifications |
Appearance | Colorless or light yellow transparent liquid |
Specific Gravity (25℃ g/cm3) | ≥1.20 |
PH(原液) | 6.0-8.0 |
3. Usage Instructions
Choose the appropriate descaler SGR 1232 based on the degree of scaling and specific operating conditions. At room temperature, the product can either be used for soaking treatment or sprayed directly onto the scale surface. Typically, the treatment time ranges from 6 to 48 hours, with a concentration of 35%-100%. The exact cleaning time and dosage should be determined based on the specific characteristics of the scale.
4. Packaging and Storage
SGR 1232 is packaged in plastic barrels, typically 25 kg per barrel or according to customer requirements. Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place, with a shelf life of ten months.
5. Safety and Protection
SGR 1232 is a neutral product and does not cause significant corrosion to equipment. During handling, ensure proper labor protection and avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
Based on engineering practices, the GGH descaling process can be as follows: High-pressure water flushing (to remove loose scale) → Circulation spraying with SGR 1232 (6h-48h, scale transformation) → High-pressure water flushing (to remove loose scale).
