The independently developed TRT corrosion and scale inhibitor by Jining Sciengreen Water Treatment Co., Ltd. has been successfully applied. The TRT corrosion and scale inhibitor, a specialized agent for steel plant TRT systems, has been successfully applied in multiple user units after more than half a year of research and trial operation.
The TRT system is an energy-saving and environmental protection device for steel enterprises, which recovers blast furnace gas for power generation. The TRT system is prone to scaling in areas such as blades and flues during operation. If scaling occurs in the system, the dynamic balance will be disrupted, and the spindle vibration value will increase to automatic adjustment, directly leading to low power generation of the TRT device, frequent maintenance (with a maintenance cycle of less than 2 months), and even affecting the safe operation of the entire TRT system. To ensure the safe and economical operation of the steel plant's TRT system, a dedicated scale inhibitor must be used for the TRT system. At present, there are only one or two domestic manufacturers that can produce TRT specific scale inhibitors, but their performance needs to be improved and their prices are expensive, which cannot meet the needs of user units.
In this situation, at the request of the vast number of users, our company's technical personnel, led by the Technical Director of the Water Treatment Chemistry Department, Zhuang Lihua, and guided by the Chief R&D Expert, Shao Weiren, carried out the challenging work of TRT agents with three generations of technical backbones: the elderly, middle-aged, and young. After more than half a year of testing and trial operation, TRT corrosion inhibitor and desalination agent have been successfully applied to many domestic enterprises such as Rizhao Iron and Steel.
The TRT corrosion inhibitor and desalination agent developed and produced by our company can be tailored for targeted production based on factors such as blast furnace gas flow rate, temperature, component properties, dry TRT scaling location, and scale sample component properties. The actual application effects of multiple steel enterprises have proven that the TRT corrosion and desalination agent produced by our unit is reasonably priced, easy to use on site, has significant corrosion and desalination effects, and does not affect the quality of gas use. It has extended the service life of equipment for user units, shortened the maintenance cycle (more than 6 months), ensured the safe and economical operation of the unit, and received unanimous praise from customers.
