Wujing Power Plant - The Footsteps of Sciengreen Metropolis

The chemical cleaning project of Boiler No. 9 at Wujing Thermal Power Plant of Shanghai Electric Power Co., Ltd. is the first 1000 ton boiler cleaning project undertaken by our company in Shanghai. On the following day of the project, the engineering center held a special engineering research meeting to emphasize and mobilize technology, safety, and civilized construction based on the project construction site, and to allocate equipment and personnel. On March 20th, a team of 10 people from the project department arrived at the site. After strict three-level safety training by Party A, the project officially began construction on March 24th. The Wujing Thermal Power Plant is located in the western upper reaches of the Huangpu River, adjacent to the Wujing Chemical Industry Zone, and was founded in 1958. It has undergone eight phases of construction. The power plant has very sound systems and strict regulatory requirements. Any slight mistake by outsourcing units will result in them being blacklisted in the system. Violators will be permanently prohibited from entering the entire system, and in severe cases, the entire company will not be allowed to enter the system in the future. Therefore, project manager Shi Shanjing held a mobilization meeting for all construction personnel in our company to unify their thinking and strictly carry out work in accordance with relevant regulations.

This boiler cleaning uses citric acid as the main cleaning agent and needs to be heated to around 90 degrees. The heat source provided by the company is at a 12.6-meter platform, where there is no hanging chain. The project department finally decided that four people would stand on the 12.6-meter platform, each wearing a "five point" double hook safety belt. On the flat ground, four people would weld a crossbeam at the bottom of a pre fabricated 13 meter long pole. The construction workers on the platform pulled it up with ropes, and the workers on the flat ground lifted the crossbeam with force. Eight employees worked together to successfully erect the pole. The owner was impressed by our fearless and tenacious spirit.

During the system inspection, due to the negligence of the owner, two valves were not closed as required. Upon discovering this, the head of the technical department, engineer Shengbao, immediately informed the relevant personnel to handle it in a timely manner, avoiding potential hazards during the cleaning process. The owner expressed respect and gratitude for our company's professionalism, and also affirmed and recognized our technology.

According to the pre established construction schedule, the project will connect the main return water on March 26, 2017. Due to the owner's personnel being nervous and unable to cut open the two return water ports within the specified time, we were unable to connect them. After communicating with the owner through normal procedures, we decided to connect the pipelines in other places first. The owner apologized for this and expressed gratitude for our company's strong support for their work.

Through this construction, the owners have gained a more comprehensive and deeper understanding of our company, won honors and trust, and laid a solid foundation for better cooperation between both parties in the future.
