On March 21st, the 3rd Shandong Industrial Water Conservation and Water Environment Technology Forum was held in Jinan. Professor Yin Shumei, Technical Director of our R&D Center, and others were invited to attend this conference.

During the meeting, Professor Yin had in-depth discussions with business leaders on the near zero discharge technology of wastewater reuse and circulating water. The chemical industry is a high water consuming industry, and the annual discharge of chemical wastewater in the country is enormous. The goal of zero wastewater discharge is imperative. The large amount of wastewater discharged and the difficulty in treating it are major challenges in achieving standard discharge of chemical wastewater. Part of the chemical wastewater contains indole, benzo [a] pyrene, naphthalene, indene, etc., which are the focus of wastewater treatment in chemical plants. The near zero discharge technology of chemical wastewater reuse circulating water system has the following advantages: lower equipment investment or renovation costs; Widely applicable in various fields; The technical processing method is simple, ensuring the stable operation of the circulating water system; To achieve the reuse of wastewater and improve the utilization rate of water resources, this technology can bring significant economic benefits to enterprises. Our company's nearly zero discharge technology for wastewater reuse and circulating water adopts two process routes for wastewater reuse: one is that the wastewater is not further treated after biochemical treatment and is reused as supplementary water in the circulating water system. The circulating water system will not scale or corrode, and the system will not discharge pollutants; Secondly, wastewater can be directly used as supplementary water for the circulating water system without any other treatment, and the circulating water system does not scale, corrode, or discharge pollutants. This technology not only solves the problem of wastewater treatment, but also saves a lot of circulating water replenishment. This technology has the characteristics of low cost per ton of water treatment, safety and environmental protection. This technology has been successfully applied in various fields, especially in fine chemical industries such as coking, biopharmaceuticals, and pesticides, achieving good results. A pharmaceutical company has been using this technology for two years, and the circulating water system has been running safely and stably, achieving considerable economic and environmental benefits. This technology has applied for multiple patents and has been granted two invention patents.
