Associate Professor Ding Yuanhong from Qingdao University of Science and Technology has been appointed as the Vice President of Science and Technology at Xingrui Company

Recently, the Talent Work Leadership Office of Jining Economic Development Zone issued a notice on the announcement of the list of technology vice presidents selected for climbing engineering enterprises in Jining City (first batch) (Jikai Jingfa Zi [2022] No. 4). Ding Yuanhong, associate professor and master's supervisor of the School of Environmental and Safety Engineering at Qingdao University of Science and Technology, was appointed as the technology vice president of Xingrui (Shandong) Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. for a term of two years.

Vice President Ding Yuanhong graduated with a PhD in Environmental Science from Xiamen University and worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the School of Environment at Peking University. From December 2005 to January 2015, she taught at the School of Environment at Nanjing University and began teaching at the School of Environment at Qingdao University of Science and Technology in January 2015. As an expert in sewage treatment and resource utilization technology, Vice President Ding Yuanhong has been focusing on the teaching, research, and engineering application of sewage treatment and resource utilization technology for many years. He has conducted extensive application research and engineering practice on the standard discharge of high-strength industrial wastewater such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and printing, as well as the upgrading and transformation of existing processes, using efficient physicochemical and biochemical pretreatment technologies such as electrocatalysis, Fenton like, MBR, and UASB. He has accumulated a wealth of practical experience in the fields of enhanced pretreatment technology for high-strength industrial wastewater treatment and deep denitrification technology for wastewater. Professor Ding Yuanhong, as the Vice President of Science and Technology at Xingrui Company, will continue to promote the establishment of a multi-level cooperative relationship between Xingrui Company and Qingdao University of Science and Technology, innovate the mode of industry university research cooperation, enrich the research topics of teachers and students in the School of Environment at Qingdao University of Science and Technology, promote the transformation of relevant scientific and technological achievements in schools and colleges, and provide strong intellectual support for Xingrui's innovative development.
