Good news from South Africa's "Redstone": Overseas New Year's opening with a bright start - The chemical cleaning project for the South African Redstone Thermal Power Station undertaken by Xingrui Company has been successfully completed

In March 2024, our company successfully completed and passed the acceptance of the South African Redstone 100MW tower solar thermal power generation chemical cleaning project, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent unit start-up and grid connected power generation. The project department overcame the hot climate in South Africa, never stopped during the Spring Festival, and remained on duty to ensure delivery, ushering in a new spring in project construction. With the collaboration and cooperation of all parties, the quality and delivery targets were successfully achieved.

The Redstone Solar Thermal Power Project is located in the North Cape Province of South Africa. After being put into operation, it is expected to deliver approximately 480 GWh of electricity to the grid annually, providing stable power supply to over 200000 households in South Africa. It is reported that this project is the largest investment project in the Northern Cape province and is also part of South Africa's new energy procurement project, which has strategic significance for achieving South Africa's energy transformation goals. South African President Ramaphosa stated during his inspection of the project that the engineering quality and craftsmanship level of Chinese enterprises have reached the world's leading level, and the smooth progress of the project will bring important benefits to the South African people. As an important achievement of the cooperation between China and South Africa in jointly building the "the Belt and Road", the Hongshi Solar Thermal Project not only supports local economic and social development with green power, but also maintains local ecological balance with green action.

This project is the second time that Xingrui Company has participated in the cleaning work of foreign solar thermal power projects after the Noor Solar Thermal Power Project in Morocco. In order to ensure the smooth progress of chemical cleaning work, the project department attaches great importance to it. Before the chemical cleaning work, according to relevant regulations and standards, multiple chemical cleaning special meetings are organized to discuss and develop chemical cleaning plans and measures. Comprehensive coordination is carried out on the chemical cleaning construction schedule, temporary system installation, inspection, and other aspects of work, and multiple joint inspections by multiple specialties and departments on site are accepted.

In addition, the entire chemical cleaning process strictly follows the German industrial cleaning standards, and strict management is implemented on the construction site to ensure that each construction step is carried out in accordance with the standards. Based on the actual operating conditions on site, we have communicated multiple plans with the owner and continuously updated and improved the cleaning plan. The project team overcame a series of difficulties such as short construction period, high process requirements, and wide construction scope with the construction standards of "high standards, high quality, and high efficiency" and high-level professional technical deployment. The project was successfully completed and passed the acceptance inspection in one go. The customer expressed high satisfaction with this cleaning service and fully recognized our professional level and efficient work.
